We are seeking a full-time comprehensive ophthalmologist, to provide medical and surgical eye care in a busy ophthalmology practice, who is looking for a well-paid full-time position and is interested in partnership opportunity and practice ownership. We are looking for someone who is a good cataract surgeon and can handle a high volume of cataract surgery cases. In the experience of one of our surgeons, the conversion to premium IOLs and FLACS is 45%, allowing the opportunity for enhanced revenue for the new surgeon. We hope to hire someone who is flexible and able to see a variety of patients. The practice is comprised of five comprehensive ophthalmologists, a part-time retinal specialist and two optometrists. Our office provides comprehensive eye care, twelve exam lanes, an optical dispensary, twenty-five supporting personnel, and works with an affiliated Ambulatory Surgical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a busy practice with ethical doctors in a major metropolitan area.

Requirements include completion of an approved residency, ABO eligibility or certification. A California medical license is required to begin work. We are seeking someone who is well-trained, has high ethical standards, is hard-working, mature, able to handle a busy patient load, writes legibly, is comfortable with electronic medical records, and can work relatively independently. The applicant must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in medical Spanish is a plus. The applicant must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment that entails caring for a full patient load. Review of applications to begin immediately.
