- Performance & Recovery Physical Therapist
Description
About the Role
The Performance & Recovery Physical Therapist (PT) is the highest-level clinical provider in the Corrective Bodyworks system.
This is not traditional insurance-based physical therapy.
This role blends advanced movement assessment, high-level manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and progressive loading to help clients restore functional movement, resolve persistent limitations, and return to high performance.
You’ll help clients:
Understand the movement, strength, and load factors contributing to their pain or limitations
Improve soft-tissue and joint function through skilled hands-on therapy
Build long-term resiliency with performance-based recovery strategies and progressive exercise
Transition from rehab → performance → long-term membership care
The PT works in direct partnership with the Corrective Bodywork Therapist (CBT) and Corrective Strength Trainer (CST), creating a seamless continuum from hands-on care → corrective exercise → performance progression — without insurance restrictions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive 60-minute movement, posture, and performance evaluations to build individualized care plans
Provide advanced manual therapy: joint mobilizations, soft-tissue techniques, IASTM/cupping, neuromuscular re-education, etc.
Apply performance-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, progressive loading, and return-to-sport strategies
Integrate advanced modalities such as dry needling*, BFR, advanced E-stim/NMES, traction, and taping (where applicable and within scope)
Lead small-group performance recovery sessions (2–4 clients) as the program grows
Collaborate closely with CBTs and CSTs on shared cases and progression planning
Document all assessments, findings, progression, and outcomes in a clear, compliant, and educational manner
