Workers Comp Experts Physical Therapy & Rehab, LLC., is seeking a licensed and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team on a once or twice a week, 8 hour per week basis. This role is ideal for a professional looking for a consistent, limited-hour commitment. We are a growing and multidisciplinary practice, expanding our services to diverse patients. We specialize in providing medical care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation services for patients with work-related injuries, slip and fall incidents, and automobile accidents. Our expertise includes treating USPS federal employees, and other federal employees under the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act (FECA), and non-federal workers with job-related injuries.
We are highly experienced in managing Workers’ Compensation claims from inception to end, including those filed with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).
Location: Miami Lakes, FL
Employment Type: 8 Hours a day, once a week. Can be divided into twice a week, 4 Hours 4 each day

Responsibilities:
- Your primary responsibility will be to perform weekly evaluations and re-evaluations to oversee the progress of patients treated by our skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- Conduct weekly patient evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Review, update, and sign off on all patient care implemented by the PTA.
- Provide ongoing clinical guidance and supervision to the Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Ensure all patient documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the PTA and other staff to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- AS, BS, MS or A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- A current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of FL.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, with prior experience in supervising PTAs preferred.
- Deep knowledge of state practice acts and regulations concerning the supervision of PTAs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for thorough documentation.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Flexible schedule: 8 Hours a day, once a week. Can be divided into twice a week, 4 Hours 4 each day.
