Director, Client Management, Physician Revenue Cycle Services

The Director, Client Management is responsible for leading a team of client relationship experts who cultivate meaningful relationships with key decision-makers, maintain high customer satisfaction, and position Change Healthcare as a trusted partner in the market. This leader will coach to team to ensure high customer retention and satisfaction across all assigned clients. Key success factor is ability to build effective relationships, both internally and with Change Healthcare clients, which will result in client references, adoption of additional services, and high levels of retention and satisfaction. The Director, Client Management will lead the team to work with clients to optimize financial and clinical performance using Change Healthcare products and services. This role will coordinate with Vice President, Client Management to assess additional opportunities. The Director, Client Management will collaboratively identify, address and successfully resolve a broad range of topics and issues. Key success factors include the ability to lead a team of relationship specialists, service large client accounts and/or multiple higher complexity smaller client accounts .

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Manages a team of client managers and analysts in servicing the clients and meeting goals and objectives.
  • Acts as an escalation point for the team base as needed
  • Model high customer service qualities and drive team accountability to do the same in delivery of service
  • Proactively manages and resolves customer issues
  • Tracks progress and opportunities across delivery teams
  • Alerts customers to any changing services
  • Addresses issues openly and quickly
  • Maintains relationships with key client contacts that fosters an environment to drive client performance and minimize attrition
  • Ensures key customers are referenceable promoters to support sales
  • Works with VP of Client Management, sales, operational, and product specialists as appropriate to identify areas for "up selling."
  • Assist in closing add on sales
  • Shares information and collaborates on new business opportunities with other BU segments
  • Coordinates with other BU support and service teams
  • Establishes, maintain and coordinate service dialogue between business units

What are the requirements needed for this position?
  • A minimum of 7+ year's health system and/or physician office experience with large employed and/or independent groups of physicians/providers in the related functions of practice management, patient workflow and revenue cycle management, or healthcare consulting
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience leading remote teams of client relationship specialists and successfully driving initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention
  • Proficient Use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated the ability to develop strong successful relationships
  • Understands customer's business / operational priorities, including technology and service needs, new service requirements, service utilization, and may serve in an individual or people-manager capacity.
  • Technical understanding of revenue cycle technology platforms
  • Stays abreast of changes in healthcare reimbursement models and can provide subject matter expertise (SME) around such changes
  • Ability to translate regulatory, business environment, technical understanding to action plans and issue resolution
  • Experience with complex report running, report building and data analysis
  • Ability to extract data
  • Bachelor Degree required

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
  • Experience in Radiology preferred
  • Experience with Power Bi or other systems is a plus
  • Experience presenting or consulting to C suite or large physician organizations
  • Expertise in the areas of assignment of roles relative to the billing, clinical workflow, and documentation within a hospital and office-based setting
  • Experience gained through exposure to account management and/or systems and the change management and quality measures
  • Knowledge of the practice management and medical billing practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Colorado Residents Only:
The base pay range for Colorado residents is $91,200.00 - $187,110.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your base pay, Change Healthcare offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Health, dental and vision plans; wellness program; health savings account; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plan; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; Employee Assistance Program; PTO; tuition reimbursement; and employee-paid critical illness and accident insurance.
