This new IT digital innovation role is an exciting opportunity to focus on new business areas, health equity, public policy, and incubate future ideas. Our HH IT team works with Brand Franchises, Social Business Innovation, and Global Public Policy to drive digital innovation and incubate new ideas.We foster a continuous learning and experimentation mindset by scanning, networking and partnering with external HealthTech Companies (Startups, Incumbents & Key Strategic Partners) to help co-create capabilities that drive the business forward and ultimately improve patient lives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be an advocate of the IT strategy to business partners and work with them to implement IT innovations and initiatives while ensuring there is no negative impact to business operations
- Serve as the liaison in the organization between technology and business end-users
- Interface with other sites and IT Hubs to develop and implement new IT solutions consistent with our division's IT directives
- Document and verify business process flows and user stories.
- Determine experiment or pilot deliverables, schedules and resource needs
- Because this is a client facing role which has a high level of interaction with business partners at all levels and requires a strong customer service mindset, the IT Business Innovation Consultant should be able to work independently and be comfortable reaching across functional and geographical areas to collaborate with IT colleagues, third party solution providers and contractors
- Formulate and define business cases with associated drivers: Return on Investment, Key Performance Indicators, and other appropriate measures and metrics of desired outcomes or learnings
- Focus on understanding the broader business and technology environment
- Facilitate discussions or workshops with internal business partners to understand current and future state business processes/needs/gaps
- Obtaining business sponsorship for recommended solutions and pilots
- Providing support throughout the implementation of solutions which could include any combination of the following: User Story Definition, Requirement Definition, UAT Test Coordination and Project Management
- Assure full and continuous compliance with our Company's Corporate IT Policies, including our Company's System Development LifeCycle (SDLC), and regulatory requirements
- Mentor other IT support personnel in our Company's Corporate IT Policies, including our Company's System Development LifeCycle (SDLC), and regulatory requirements
- Ability to function and influence others (without direct authority) effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous environment, with frequently changing priorities & goals across functional teams to support evolving business needs
- Ability to using problem solving methodologies, and create business cases with high level requirements
- A team player mindset and an aptitude to solve problems
Education Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of information technology with knowledge of complex applications and systems
- 6 + years of combined working experience in IT account management and/or sales/marketing supportin pharma industry
- Prior working experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of the HealthTech Landscape and Emerging Technologies Future Trends supporting healthcare, Machine Learning and AI
- Prior working experience in account management, and/or client relationship management within the pharma industry
- Prior working experience prioritizing and aligning work with organization priorities
- Prior working experience collaborating and building strong relationships with business clients, stakeholders, IT shared services groups or development teams
- Prior working experience with Waterfall and/or Agile (Scrum)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS-Project, Jira, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Masters Degree
- Healthcare IT/Digital marketing experience
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining credible strategic relationships with business clients and IT areas within an international setting
- Energetic self-starter with demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
- Understanding of Design Thinking as potential opportunities in healthcare
- Understanding of the Delivery of Care and Patient Journey Mapping
- Understanding in driving digital transformation within a commercial organization
- Demonstrated performance in business case development including creation and management of value realization metrics.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$118,640.00 - $186,800.00
